Audit and Accounts Senior Job Overview
  • The role will involve a 75/25 split between audit and accounts work, with a focus on providing high-quality services to clients.
  • Assisting the Senior Managers with the planning of audits and completion of detailed audit testing.
  • Producing financial statements and drafting Corporation tax computations, including completing accounts from a trial balance provided by clients or finalising accounts where the groundwork has been completed by other team members.
  • Submitting approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
  • Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns.
  • Management of monthly bookkeeping and management account assignments, aiming to provide completed monthly management accounts to Senior Managers for review and client meetings.
Audit and Accounts Senior Job Requirements
  • Software experience with CCH and Caseware Cloud is a plus, but not necessary. Experience with Xero and Sage is also advantageous.
  • Must have experience in audit and accounts.
Audit and Accounts Senior Salary & Benefits
  • Circa 40-55k per annum, negotiable on experience.
  • Discretionary bonus.
  • 30 days including bank holidays and 2 duvet days.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Pension: employees pay a minimum of 5% and the company will pay 3%.
  • Annual company trip, overnight stay in Europe, company will pay for flights, hotels, meals, etc.
  • 3 month probation.
  • Hybrid position, with flexible working. Employees primarily working from home will be required to come to the office for client/team meetings and for team office days (currently twice a month).
