HGV 1 Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV 1 driver to join our team at 24-7 Recruitment Services Ltd. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 1 vehicle and performing deliveries to multiple destinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate a Class 1 Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and follow all safety protocols.
  • Perform Deliveries: Deliver goods to multiple destinations in a timely and secure manner.
  • Ensure Load Security: Properly secure all loads to comply with safety standards.
  • Maintain Delivery Records: Accurately record all deliveries and maintain a clean and organized log.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) License: Possess a valid Class 1 license and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
  • Strong Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrate strong punctuality and reliability in your work.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Practices: Have knowledge of health and safety practices in transportation.
