About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Accountant to join our team as a Cluster Accountant, responsible for two hotels in Sheffield. Working closely with the head office team, you will ensure that controls and processes are in place across both hotels.

This is a hands-on role, suitable for someone with good communication skills, able to train and influence the hotel team. You will have experience working in hotel accounts, with knowledge of cost control, income audit, and completing reconciliations.

A key aspect of this role is to work collaboratively with the small accounting teams at each hotel to maintain high standards of financial management. If you have a strong background in hotel accounting and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee the financial performance of two hotels in Sheffield, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
  • To develop and implement effective financial systems and procedures to support business growth and profitability.
  • To provide training and guidance to hotel staff on financial matters, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel accounting, preferably in a similar cluster environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and access to professional development opportunities.
