About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at CrossReach. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards in all areas of the service
  • Assist in various housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and waste management
  • Support service users in maintaining their personal spaces and promoting independence
  • Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and health and safety training, including COSHH regulations
Requirements
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Respect for Christian worship
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme with necessary vetting checks
  • Ability to work a rota system and adapt to changing priorities
