Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale programme of work in the nuclear energy sector. As a trusted delivery partner to clients, we are looking for an individual who can drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication.
- Support Project Manager(s) and Programme Manager in Monthly Finance and Delivery Reviews.
- Provide informed forecasts for the Project (for the Financial Year and Project Lifecycle) by working with the Project Manager(s) and Cost Engineering functions.
- Collaborate with the Project Planner to ensure forecasts are informed and aligned to the programme.
- Review and Track Costs and Forecasts to ensure and demonstrate continued affordability.
- Produce Cost Reporting Outputs in a timely manner for month end reporting, inputting into all relevant internal financial systems.
- Attend monthly supplier Project Meetings and carry out associated contract administration as required.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a wider Project Controls or Commercial team on complex projects.
- A detailed working knowledge of cost engineering functions, cost control and cost analysis, preferably from a nuclear or highly regulated environment.
- NEC Contracts knowledge.
- CEMAR.
- Ideally Chartered.
Security Requirements
You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.
