Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Residential Child Care Workers, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and support to children in our care. This will involve developing and implementing care plans, managing staff rotas, and maintaining accurate records.

A key aspect of this role is working closely with children who have experienced trauma and adversity. You will need to be able to provide emotional support, guidance, and stability to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting within the last five years
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce, with a working towards or completed Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable children and young people

In return, we offer a competitive salary package, including a salary of £46,000 to £52,000 per annum, plus benefits such as 30 days annual leave, ongoing training and learning opportunities, and an enhanced company pension scheme.
