**About the Role:**

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and caring Support and Care Provider to join our team in Gloucester. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with our client with cerebral palsy to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/adults with special needs and be passionate about delivering high-quality care and support. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans, promoting independence and participation in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Support the client's communication and make their wishes understood.
  • Promote learning and independence through therapy programs and community activities.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, including cleaning equipment and assisting with household tasks.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude and desire to work with children and young people.
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, clear communication, and a good sense of humour.
  • Willingness to participate in outdoor activities and be water confident.
  • Ability to work alone, unsupervised, and on own initiative when necessary.
  • Good written skills and ability to keep accurate records.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £13.50-£16 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for additional hours and flexible working arrangements.
