The Role

We are looking for a Senior Production Operative to help us sustain and grow an operation of excellence. As a key member of our production team, you will support the operation supervisor in managing a small team of operatives to deliver department performance productivity, packing quality & accuracy and on time delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and demonstrate the speed and quality we expect from all operatives.
  • Be well-rounded in all areas of the operation, ready to support and cover as needed.
  • Bring any issues to the attention of the Production Supervisor.
  • Exercise problem-solving skills when the Supervisor is not available.
  • Understand and execute procedures for closing and opening the building.

Requirements

  • Strong people skills, with the ability to motivate and complete tasks with your team.
  • Support the completion of deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous warehouse or production experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to use a computer to complete tasks.
  • Strong sense of team working and commitment to our company values.
  • A positive, get-up-and-go attitude at all times.
