Risk Management Specialist

At Aztec, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director In-Business Risk to join our Risk Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a robust ERM framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the risk framework.
- Identify, assess, and monitor key risks across the Group, including operational, financial, legal, regulatory, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to provide guidance and support on risk management practices.
- Partner with Risk Managers to drive implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management principles and practices.
- Stay updated on relevant industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
- Lead risk assessment workshops with senior stakeholders.
- Prepare and present risk reports and analysis to senior management.
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of a GRC system and risk business partnering.
- Deep technical knowledge and expertise in risk management.
- Advanced presentation skills and ability to interpret and balance commercial issues.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel and Word.
- Demonstrable relevant prior experience in a financial services environment.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing and organizing workloads.
- Working understanding of regulatory concepts.
