Senior Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Specialist to join our team at Western Power. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on risk and resilience related issues.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an effective resilience governance model for Western Power, providing strategic direction and commercial advice to senior executives.
- Develop and implement specific resilience response plans for differing disruptive events, minimizing exposure and duration of events.
- Provide advice and guidance to uplift identification of business-critical processes via an enterprise-wide business impact assessment.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Enterprise Risk & Resilience area to ensure effective management of enterprise risk and resilience.
- Support and assist the Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager in the development and implementation of risk management and resilience initiatives, including reporting to the Board & Audit and Risk Committee.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the provision of strategic advice and guidance to senior management on risk and resilience related issues. You will have a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Legal, Engineering, Risk Management or other relevant academic degree, and at least 10 years of experience in the field.
