Academic Support Excellence Lead

Job Overview
We are seeking an Academic Support Excellence Lead to join our team at University of the Arts London (UAL). This role is a direct teaching, coordination and line management position based primarily at Chelsea College of Arts.
The successful candidate will devise, deliver and oversee high-quality Academic Support tailored to the needs of individuals, groups and subjects, enabling students to develop as confident independent learners and to fulfil their academic potential.
About You
You will be educated to a minimum of Masters degree level and have a PGCert or equivalent. You will have significant experience of developing and delivering learning development initiatives, supporting students to fulfil their academic potential within an HE setting and managing members of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- To devise, deliver and oversee high-quality Academic Support tailored to the needs of individuals, groups and subjects
- To apply inclusive practices which recognise the diversity of the student population at UAL
- To work collaboratively with Programme /Course Teams and other Academic Support colleagues in the University to implement the University's Strategy
- To contribute to the monitoring, management and development of the offer, working in consultation with colleagues within Academic Support and the wider college communities

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
