C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Linux TCP/IP C++)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer / Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex C++ services that require scalability, large amounts of data, and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality C++ code for our remote access product
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain C++ services that meet scalability and security standards
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
  • Work closely with our mobile development team to integrate C++ services with Flutter and Dart applications

Requirements:

  • Strong C++ development skills and experience with cross-platform development (Linux and Windows)
  • Good understanding of networking technologies, protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, multicast), and security principles
  • Collaborative mindset with clear, concise communication skills
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with Flutter/Dart mobile development or cryptography is a plus
