Clinical Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Fortrea UK Holdings Limited. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of clinical trials, ensuring the smooth operation of our research units, and providing exceptional support to our participants and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain medical reports from General Practitioners (GPs) and handle inquiries related to study participation.
- Liaise with GPs and surgeries to expedite the return of GP reports and collate reports for review.
- Record receipt of GP reports into databases and prepare updates as needed.
- Scan, quality check, and file GP reports as appropriate.
- Notify GPs of their patient's inclusion in studies.
- Enter medical history and demographic information from potential subjects into computerized databases.
- Generate letters and reports using the mail merge facility on the recruitment database.
- Administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent telephone manners and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
