GPs World Limited is hiring a Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team in various locations across England. As an experienced HCA, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring accurate and efficient blood sampling.

About the Role:

This is a locum contract opportunity, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The shift pattern includes Monday to Friday (0815-1645), Saturday (0845-1615), and Sunday (1045-1605). We are looking for candidates with a strong background in phlebotomy, preferably holding a certificate or competency sign-off.

Responsibilities:
  1. Confirm participant details before each appointment
  2. Take vital signs, including height, weight, waist measurements, heart rate, and blood pressure
  3. Collect two blood samples, label, and store them correctly
  4. Maintain participant welfare throughout the appointment and escalate as necessary
  5. Provide signposting, advice, and guidance as relevant
  6. Prepare sample boxes for courier collection
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year's active experience in phlebotomy
  • Certificate or competency sign-off in phlebotomy
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is £18-25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
