Care Assistant

About the Role
You will become part of a fun and friendly team providing support to two ladies with complex needs within their own residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
You will support both ladies with their day-to-day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving and assisting with medication.
About the Team
Our team is dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about participating and supporting the ladies with their hobbies and interests, which include music and sensory activities, arts & crafts, day trips, baking, swimming and going for walks.
What We Offer
We will pay you for your training and fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too. You will need to have a full driving license and at least 1 year's driving experience, however this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a caring and compassionate attitude, the ability to work well in a team, good communication and organisational skills, confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity and the ladies also have their own hot tub, a positive approach to learning and confidence in the use of computers.
Shift Patterns
Shift patterns do include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers and weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
