- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Menu Development: Assist in menu planning and development in accordance with seasonal and budgetary considerations.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Culinary Team Management: Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certifications: Level 2 or above in Catering/Food preparation (or equivalent) and certification in food safety and sanitation.
- Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of nutrition and special dietary needs, particularly for elderly individuals, and strong organizational and communication skills.
