Job Title: Construction Solicitor - Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Solicitor - Associate to join our client's busy and highly regarded Construction team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Partners and play an integral part in a variety of matters, with a focus on non-contentious construction and infrastructure work.

About the Role:

  • Advise on construction transactions, including risk reviews, drafting, and negotiating terms.
  • Expand skills and knowledge in construction and infrastructure law.
  • Provide commercially-focused and pragmatic advice to clients and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Stay-up-to-date with the latest policy and legal developments affecting the construction and engineering industry.
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and demonstrate a genuine commitment to understanding and meeting their business needs.

Requirements:

  • Good level of experience advising on construction transactions.
  • Enthusiasm to expand skills and knowledge in construction and infrastructure law.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Firm grounding in transactional non-contentious practice within a construction and/or infrastructure environment.
  • Experience in commonly used contract forms such as the NEC, JCT, FIDIC, as well as professional appointments and ancillary construction documentation.
