Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our expanding Real Estate team in Newcastle. As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading Project Management Commissions and taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets and quality standards.
  • Lead the establishment of overall success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
  • Project planning, including ensuring the production of detailed project plans.
  • Advising on the procurement of resources.
  • Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing change control processes.
  • Monitoring and advising on project finances.
  • Managing the flow of project information between teams and clients.
  • Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
  • Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
  • Attend formal client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • Ensure project case study, photograph, and project CV files are up to date.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve project management products and services.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
