Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join our forward-thinking physiotherapy team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in their recovery and return to the community.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in support of the physiotherapist in the assessment of patients, facilitating timely discharge, delivering physiotherapy treatment programmes as part of an individualised plan of care, and promoting independence by working independently or with other members of the physiotherapy or wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a health-related NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification, as well as previous experience as a Physiotherapy or Healthcare Support Worker within a hospital, community, or social care setting. Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are also essential.
