Teaching Assistant Role Overview

Castle Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as a Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a strong passion for education.

This role offers a competitive rate of pay, fully inclusive of holiday pay, as well as opportunities for training and development through Castle Education's dedicated specialist.

The successful candidate will support children in their personal development, promote confidence, and develop academic skills. They will also promote inclusion and provide children with strategies to use in their everyday lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people and some classroom experience, although Castle Education will also consider individuals with experience in childcare, youth clubs, coaching backgrounds, or club leader roles.

The successful candidate will be required to have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to gain one.

In return, Castle Education offers a dedicated Education specialist committed to securing work specific to the candidate's requirements and fantastic opportunities to work in a variety of school settings.

Requirements

> Experience of working in an SEN setting, with school-aged children
> An innovative and creative approach to teaching and raising attainment
> A confident and positive approach to working with children with various special educational needs and of varying abilities
