Stock Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Stock Controller to join our Operations team at Great Bear. As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the stock integrity within the warehouse and ensuring that all Stock Control processes are carried out in accordance with the site policy documents.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and despatched loads.
- Manage the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
- Accurately amend pickfaces to maintain stock integrity and ensure all checks are completed first.
- Hold and Release process.
- Provide stock traceability information as and when required for reasons such as recalls.
- Fully investigate and report accurately all short shipments.
- Completion of daily and weekly reports.
- Managing multi client and multi customer queries.
- Assist Stock Management with investigations.
- Previous stock control experience.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of detail.
- Able to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
- Team player who can also work on own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
- PC literate in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience of Autostore WMS is desirable.
