Our Team

We are looking for a skilled IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration of our network and systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Administration
    • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
    • Troubleshooting and optimization of network connections and performance
    • Knowledge and practical experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
    • In-depth knowledge of Watchguard firewalls and Aruba switches (desirable)
  • Virtualization
    • Planning, implementation, and management of virtual machines and environments
    • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V to optimize resource usage
    • Ensuring the availability and performance of virtualized systems
  • Cloud Technologies
    • Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
    • Particularly in-depth experience with Microsoft Azure (desirable)
    • Migration of on-premise solutions to the cloud (if applicable)
    • Management of cloud resources and costs
  • Microsoft 365
    • Extensive experience in the management of Microsoft 365 tenants
    • Configuration and maintenance of user accounts, licenses, and security policies
    • Supporting end users with questions and problems relating to Microsoft 365

Requirements

  • Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in IT administration of networks and systems
  • Sound knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with IT security solutions and backup strategies
  • Good knowledge of German and English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working
