Experienced General Sales Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned General Sales Manager to spearhead our go-to-market strategy for Prime Sales across the Energy & Transportation industries. This senior leadership role is pivotal in augmenting the expertise and track record of our existing team, formulating and executing a coherent sales strategy designed for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a customer-centric strategy to drive profitable and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing energy, motivation, and direction.
  • Build strong relationships with Caterpillar and key suppliers to drive growth and eliminate risk.
  • Analyse and drive sales penetration across key customers and markets, capturing customer insight to inform focused relationship development strategies.
Requirements:
  • Degree-qualified, ideally with an engineering background and a post-graduate qualification such as an MBA.
  • Demonstrable involvement in successfully managing sales growth and leading high-energy sales teams.
  • Experience in driving sustainable and profitable revenue growth through strategy and leadership of a high-performing team.
  • Able to point to their role in leading behavioural change to engender collective enthusiasm and accountability towards new and ambitious business goals.
