About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Inspector to join our team at Galliford Try. As an Electrical Installation Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections of manufactured products and electrical installations.
  • Undertake electrical inspection, testing, and certification of factory-built assemblies.
  • Complete factory-based functional and process testing of assemblies following company procedures.
  • Compile test documentation and reports.
  • Liaise with stakeholders during and upon completion of testing.
  • Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with other departments.
  • Assist with internal process development and identifying and removing waste/non-value-added activities.
  • Comply with the Company's Business Quality Management System.
  • Abide by the Company's Culture and Values.

About You:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing and installation relating to electrical systems.
  • Experience working to or qualified to the 18th Edition to BS wiring regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Databases.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience within the Water and Wastewater Sector.
  • Experience in Industrial Automation.
  • Experience working and interfacing directly with customers.
  • Technical Report writing ability.
