About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Support Worker to join our team at Beaumont College. As a College Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

Our students enjoy learning and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. We offer small class sizes, high levels of support, and a range of personalized pathways to help our students make progress and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to students, following their individual care and support plans.
  • Work in an environment that promotes dignity and respect, providing intimate personal care where required.
  • Administer medication and deliver delegated health care tasks in a person-centered manner.
  • Safeguard the health and wellbeing and safety of our students, reporting any concerns in line with Salutem and Beaumont College policies and procedures.
  • Develop effective communication and interaction skills to ensure students are heard, listened to, and understood.
  • Support students to participate in college and community life, promoting accessible strategies, inclusivity, and social models of disability.
  • Access additional training to create a capable and positive environment, promoting positive behaviors and minimizing risks of escalated behaviors.
  • Follow organizational policies and procedures to ensure a safe, secure, and clean environment.
