Reed Accountancy Oxford is partnering with a reputable client in West Oxfordshire to source a Tax Analyst for their finance structure. The role offers a salary of up to £42,000 per annum, 5% bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave, pension, on-site parking, and flexible working.

The responsibilities include:

  • Executing the VAT preparation and submission process for assigned companies, including running tax registers, verifying data, and making adjustments.
  • Preparing and submitting Intrastat and EC Sales lists for assigned companies, including analyzing sales data and uploading reports.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new entities at the Indirect Tax Group, mapping activities, and planning transfers.
  • Providing support for the implementation of new systems in indirect tax, such as OneSource and Making Taxes Digital for VAT.
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in indirect taxation, including legal changes and rate updates.
  • Responding to business queries on VAT rules and regulations and ensuring compliance with department policies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive tax and VAT experience, both UK and EU. This role will be based in the office, so local residence or commutability is required.
