This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in your local community as a School Crossing Patrol Officer.

About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Service. As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of children on their way to and from school.

You will be working for 10 hours per week during term time, typically an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. A uniform will be provided to protect you against the weather, and some basic IT skills are required.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide a safe crossing environment for children on their way to and from school
  • To work collaboratively with other road safety professionals to promote safe travel practices
  • To maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents that may occur
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A high level of responsibility and reliability
  • Able to demonstrate traffic awareness and a commitment to making roads safer for pedestrians
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
