About the Role:

To act as a children's educational advocate and to facilitate the educational partnership between home, school, and other agencies by support, liaison, and negotiation. Give paramount consideration to the welfare of the child, ensuring a highly focussed approach, placing the needs of the child above all others and advocating for them when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the attendance strategy.
• Carry a caseload for the assigned APA.
• Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders in relation to young people's general welfare and educational developments.
• Initiate CAF/Early Support, act as Lead Professional, and attend multiagency meetings when appropriate.

Working with Young People:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to work with young people, taking into account their views, to strengthen their coping and resiliencies through protective support. The successful candidate will support and understand young people's social, psychological, and emotional needs.

Requirements:

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong understanding of the challenges they face.
