About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cold Store Operative to join our team at Cranswick Country Foods PLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of frozen products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming frozen products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Accurately record and track inventory levels, using our Warehouse Management System.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate temperature control throughout the cold store.
  • Ensure all procedures are followed, including reporting any anomalies or issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance activities to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.

Requirements

  • Ped-Op Licence (essential)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to learn and operate new equipment and technology.
