Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician Lead to join our team in Tamworth. As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence by maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment in a heavier manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Maintenance team to achieve company targets in respect of quality of parts produced. Key responsibilities include routine servicing, attending breakdowns, identifying faults, and problem-solving at the press with minimal downtime.

Other duties include reporting breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management; ensuring all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standards regulations; and identifying spares requirements and logging usage.

A successful candidate will have a recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or similar), 17th/18th Edition training, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. Hydraulics/Pneumatics experience is required, and Injection moulding machinery experience would be beneficial.
