We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instructor to join our team at Home Tree school in Wisbech. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to developing their practice.
Job Summary:
The Instructor will be responsible for delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. The successful candidate will have a flexible, creative and practical approach to learning and be responsible for developing individualised / small group programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.

About the School:
Home Tree School is an independent DfE-registered, co-educational day school which specialises in accommodating students with SEMH difficulties. The school typically caters for up to 20 students aged between 12-18 years of age and each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning. Individually tailored educational pathways are created to ensure each student's needs are met.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject, experience of working with students with SEMH difficulties, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
