Job Description:

BAE Systems, a leading provider of advanced defense, security, and aerospace solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Prestwick, South Ayrshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing components and systems together to form a System of Systems.

The salary range for this position is £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience in engineering integration environments, such as aerospace, automotive, rail, or nuclear industries.

The role involves managing aspects of engineering, delivering them to exacting standards through good engineering governance. The successful candidate will lead the integration of engineering across all aspects of Air platforms & products, covering all stages in the engineering life-cycle - from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Propose and develop solutions to problems throughout our product development cycle.
  • Manage aspects of engineering, delivering them to exacting standards through good engineering governance.
  • Understand and manage the maturity of our engineering solutions as they develop.


Requirements:
  • Degree educated in a STEM discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Life-cycle.
  • Evidence based experience in an engineering integration environment (Aerospace, Automotive, Rail and Nuclear Industries).
  • Experience of Model Based Engineering approaches and the supporting methods and toolsets.
