About the Role

We are seeking an experienced High-Performance Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in London, UK.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of four years' experience in account payable operations, preferably in a multinational corporation or large-sized environment.

  • Process vendor invoices and follow up with vendors and other parties in outstanding matters
  • Ensure vendor invoices are properly registered and vetted, and payment transactions are handled timely and accurately recorded
  • Handle payment enquiries and maintain good communication with both local and overseas vendors and internal departments
  • Timely update of AP issues for necessary actions
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and other ad hoc analyses as required
  • Process staff expenses and payments
  • Assist with statutory audit and tax compliance
  • Assist with VAT submission and other statistical reports, if applicable

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and journal entries, as well as excellent team player skills and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Able to use discretion, maintain confidentiality and be honest, the successful candidate will also possess strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities, and the ability to solve problems.
