About the Role

The Leicestershire County Council's Adult Education Service is seeking a skilled MIS Officer to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the effective use of data to drive performance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, verify, record, and analyze adult learning information and statistical returns, ensuring high data quality through auditing and validation.
  • Support the management information needs of the Adult Learning Service through efficient record keeping and data collection, management, and transfer.
  • Provide data analysis and supply relevant reports for presentation at adult learning management groups, staff events, and governance meetings.
  • Liaise with the MIS supplier to maintain and update the software package, including the installation of new versions.
  • Log and monitor progress with supplier support calls to resolve software functionality issues.
  • Comply with the County Council's policies and supporting documentation in relation to Information Governance, including Data Protection, Information Security, and Confidentiality.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have recent, relevant experience of data management within the ESFA funding rules. You will also be able to demonstrate how you have supported service development and delivery through the analysis and manipulation of data.

You must have a good understanding of ESFA funding rules, including data validation and submission of statutory returns. Additionally, you will need to have an understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
