Woodstock Recruitment Ltd is looking for a qualified Microbiology Technician to fill a challenging role within our organization.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary in the range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Job Description:

This position involves routine testing within the microbiology lab, including plate pouring, streaking and media preparation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience working in a microbiology lab setting and be able to use most standard equipment and follow SOPs within a micro lab setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review media and applicator results for product release
  • Manage stock control of raw materials
  • Ensure departmental compliance to Quality Management System requirements
  • Support internal audits and any resulting CAPA's / improvements
  • Ensure all non-conforming results are communicated and escalated through the appropriate channels
  • Regular maintenance of key instruments and general housekeeping
