Job Description

As an Electrical Systems Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and delivery of time-critical installation and commissioning activities. You will ensure successful completion of projects and service tasks to time and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and commissioning of drives (HV and LV) and PLC-based automation systems on industrial sites nationally and globally.
  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance activities on customer sites, both nationally and globally.
  • Reading and marking up equipment drawings and circuit diagrams in preparation for formal drawing office updates.
  • Supporting key service contract customers, including remote support as well as traveling to customer sites to perform diagnosis and repair activities if required.
  • Compiling risk assessments and method statements in preparation for customer site visits.
Requirements

We are seeking a committed and professional individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Power Electronics.
  • Engineering (or similar relevant discipline) or recognized Engineering Apprenticeship, four-year plus, Higher National Certificate in an Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrable understanding of electronic and electrical engineering drawings.
