Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced tutor to join our team at Tutor Doctor ABC (squared). As an eleven plus tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one supplementary education to students in their homes.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification or higher in a relevant subject and extensive experience of teaching eleven plus students. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with students and their families, and be able to adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of each individual.

Responsibilities: As an eleven plus tutor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one tuition to students in their homes
  • Developing and implementing effective lesson plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Communicating regularly with students and their families to monitor progress and provide feedback
  • Working collaboratively with other tutors and staff to ensure a high-quality service is provided

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Be able to speak English fluently
  • Have a degree-level qualification or higher in a relevant subject
  • Have extensive experience of teaching eleven plus students
  • Have a mode of transport to get to students' homes
  • Hold a current DBS/CRB certificate
