We are looking for a highly motivated Project Lead to join our team in Derby. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for leading the definition and execution of the performance measurement baseline.

You will work closely with our engineering teams to deploy and execute the full breadth of project management practices in this rapidly growing, fast-paced engineering programme.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline, and experience of leading an integrated project team, ideally gained within the engineering/manufacturing sector.

As a team player, you will have the ability to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and a positive 'can-do' attitude to deliver on promises and commitments.

You will also have experience of project management systems and toolsets such as Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager (ARM) and SAP.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per year.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, maintaining and integrating project delivery schedules in P6 Primavera planning software.
  • Actively managing risks, planning and executing programme risk mitigations to reduce risk exposure as appropriate.
  • Supporting the bidding process in a fast-paced environment, seeking resource commitment for new scope and managing change to the Performance Measurement Baseline.
  • Leading the reporting cycle for projects and work packages within your accountability, ensuring stakeholders are well informed with an accurate view of programme performance.
