About this Role
We are currently looking for a skilled Locomotive Surface Finisher to join our team in Crewe. As a Locomotive Surface Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that trains are prepared for painting, assembled components are fabricated, and painting process issues are troubleshooted.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling
  • Assemble and fabricate project components
  • Troubleshoot painting process issues
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve timely project completion


Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in train painting
  • Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship


Working Arrangements
This role is based at our location in Crewe and involves working 40-50 hours per week. You will receive a competitive hourly rate of £17.25 plus a £200 shift allowance per week.
