Job Title: Stove-Fireplace Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Stove-Fireplace Fitter to join our team at Storm Recruitment (Swindon). As a Stove-Fireplace Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing stoves and fireplaces in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install stoves and fireplaces in accordance with manufacturer instructions and local building codes.
  • Maintain and repair stoves and fireplaces to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation or repair solution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in stove and fireplace installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
