Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Assistant
Estimated Salary: £15,600 - £17,400 per annum (based on 30 hours a week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced facilities maintenance assistant to join our team at CV-Library. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general routine cleaning tasks, emptying bins, removing waste, and performing other duties as outlined below:

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Empty bins and remove waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Clean toilet areas, including bowls, urinals, and hand basins.
  • De-scale toilets as necessary.
  • Perform specialist cleaning tasks, such as polishing wooden floors.
  • Operate domestic and industrial cleaning equipment.
  • Maintain cleaning chemicals and toiletries securely.
  • Notify Rangers of supply needs and any issues with equipment or facilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Skills:
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance.
  • Ability to operate specialist cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH Regulations.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
