Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bank Support Worker to join our team at Camphill Village Trust. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Individuals
    • Develop and implement person-centred support plans to promote independence, choice, inclusion, and control for individuals.
    • Provide personal care and daily living support, including bathing, hair washing, and administering medication.
    • Assist individuals with budgeting, financial management, and accessing benefits.
  • Community Engagement
    • Support individuals to engage in community activities, such as swimming, crafts, and socialising.
    • Develop and implement training programs to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members.
    • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and teams to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements

  • A good general education and strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism, although training will be provided.
  • A desire to support individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
