About the Role


We are seeking a talented Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our team at Michael Page (UK) in a remote role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience in designing and building scalable solutions, particularly in the Cyber Security space.


About You


The ideal candidate will have strong backend engineering skills, preferably with 80% Python and 20% GO experience. You will also have some knowledge of Cyber Security or a personal interest in the field. Additionally, you should have experience working in start-ups, scale-ups, or smaller businesses.


Your Key Responsibilities



  • Design and Build Scalable Solutions: Develop cutting-edge software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Backend Services Design: Design and implement efficient backend services that ensure seamless data flow.
  • Automation and Architecture: Create automation architectures that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Prototyping Security Tooling: Design and prototype security tooling to protect against potential threats.
  • Collaboration with Security Teams: Work closely with our Security and Labs teams to develop effective security strategies.
  • Collaboration with Ethical Hackers and Bounty Hunters: Collaborate with our ethical hackers and bounty hunters to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen our defenses.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Backend Engineering Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in backend engineering, preferably with 80% Python and 20% GO experience.
  • Cyber Security Knowledge or Interest: Some knowledge of Cyber Security or a personal interest in the field.
  • Start-up Experience: Experience working in start-ups, scale-ups, or smaller businesses.

  • Offensive Security Skills: Hands-on experience in offensive security techniques.
