About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education of students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher and students during lessons, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Develop a rapport with students who require additional support, implementing strategies to nurture, engage, and raise attainment in their secondary years.
  • Provide 1:1 Maths tuition sessions, utilizing your subject specialism to support student learning.
  • Run intervention groups in your subject area, building students' knowledge and understanding of Maths.

Requirements
  • A degree in a Maths-related field and a strong academic record.
  • Excellent communication skills and a dedicated approach to supporting students' learning journeys.
  • A passion for Maths education and a desire to make a positive impact in a school setting.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time role, working school hours (8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday). You will be required to run an after-school club once a week until 4:30pm and attend a departmental meeting once a week.

Remuneration

The role is paid weekly at a daily rate of £105 per day, with the potential to become a permanent post in the future.
