Job Title: Turbine Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Turbine Engineer to join our team at Sembcorp Industries Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily engineering breakdown issues and providing leadership and ownership for all turbine outage events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Become an expert with regards to Sembcorp's Gas and Steam Turbines (Wilton based).
  • Work closely with the Operations, Inspection, SHE, Performance and Maintenance functions to ensure a clear 5 & 10 year asset plans are developed and maintained.
  • Provide technical advice, guidance and support to the Projects, Maintenance and Operations functions for all mechanical rotating equipment and design code requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring an up to date and complete Technical Library, asset criticality study, critical spares holding, 10-year plan, planned maintenance schedule and inspection program is in place and audited for compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualified (BEng Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge of Gas/Steam Turbines (specifically GE (Mark 5&6) and Siemens).
  • Sound knowledge of Rotating Equipment I.e. Pumps, Compressors.
  • Excellent management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience of engineering and equipment maintenance in the plant area or similar operation.
  • IT skills (use of Outlook, Maximo, spreadsheets, word processing, Microsoft Project etc.).
