Drywall Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Covent Garden, London. As a specialist in drywall, ceilings, and partitions, you will contribute to the commercial aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall, ceilings, and other interior works.
  • Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and within the agreed budget.
  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage project cash flow, ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and recovery of project costs.
  • Produce regular cost reports for senior management, detailing current financial performance, potential risks, and projections for project completion.
  • Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction is essential.
  • Specific experience in drylining, ceilings, and partitions is required.
  • A degree in construction or an HNC is preferred but not essential.
  • Must have a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with computers and a willingness to develop in the role is necessary.
