Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Kingston Upon Thames

Hourly Rate: £13-£14

Contract Type: Contract

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to join our estates services team. The ideal candidate will have previous cleaning experience and a proactive attitude.

The Role:

  • Provide thorough cleaning services to high-traffic areas, including stairwells, hallways, lifts, and estate grounds.
  • Ensure rubbish collection points and bins are kept clean and emptied regularly.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning of high-traffic areas and identify maintenance issues, hazards, or repairs required on the estates.
  • Liaise with residents, estate officers, and colleagues to maintain a positive environment.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc duties as required.

The Candidate:

  • Must be willing to undergo a basic DBS check.
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably in estates or a similar environment.
  • A proactive and hardworking attitude with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-friendly approach.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices, particularly in cleaning and waste disposal.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
