We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at JD Gyms. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
- Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence, providing leadership and direction to the team.
- Drive commercial performance through effective sales and marketing strategies, working closely with the General Manager to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement operational excellence initiatives, ensuring the gym operates efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver set KPIs, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure their success.
- Proven experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry, ideally with a background in fitness or customer service.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Qualification to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Experience in driving sales and marketing initiatives, with a track record of success in a similar role.
- Ideal candidate will have experience as an Assistant Manager or Fitness Manager, with a strong understanding of operational excellence and commercial performance.
