We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Meallmore Care Home.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a purpose-built care home that provides personalised nursing care to individuals with physical, neurological or learning disabilities.

As a Care Assistant, you will have the chance to develop your skills and progress in your career, whether that be as a Senior Care Assistant or a Senior Care Practitioner.

You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC), and Meallmore will support you through this process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in accordance with their care plans.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment that promotes wellbeing.
  • Adhere to Meallmore's standards, policies, and procedures, as well as national care standards.
  • Collaborate with care staff and other teams to achieve excellent care outcomes.
Desirable Skills:
  • Working towards the qualification required for SSSC registration.
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A kind and caring nature.
