Role Overview:

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate to pursue a career in Education, Therapy, Psychological Research, Mental Health, or Speech and Language. As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will work with students who require additional support due to SEND and SEMH needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience or awareness of young people with possible barriers to learning and possess a high level of literacy and numeracy to support students.

This full-time term-time only position is located in the London Borough of Barnet and offers a competitive daily rate of £105-£110.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Work closely with a supportive inclusion team to facilitate differentiation of tasks
  • Deliver tailored interventions to meet the unique needs of students
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Key Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification
  • Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH needs
